Pdp burrito supreme

Burritos are the second-most prominent menu item at Taco Bell, following the taco. Burritos generally consist of a soft flour tortilla shell stuffed with any combination of beans, ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.

The word burrito is Spanish for "tiny donkey."

History[]

Taco Bell began selling burritos when Glen Bell took the chain public in 1970. They began varying the burrito kinds and adding more to their menu into the 1980s and the 1990s (such as the Bacon Cheeseburger Burrito, among others).

The 2000s and 2010s have seen the biggest variety of burrito styles, including the Grilled Stuft Burrito series, the Fresca menu burritos, and more.

The Burrito Supreme has been Taco Bell's signature burrito item since its introduction decades ago, while other limited-run burritos have also generated a large following. As of 2015, the Beefy Crunch Movement is working to bring the Beefy Crunch Burrito back to Taco Bell.
